current thoughts from my heart!!!

feel like i could be doing more with my life.... i want to pour myself into a worthy and productive cause with the tools and talents hibernating within... maybe its the artistic craving to create something epic that molds minds, influence a change of perspective and thus the future of man kind!!!! Yet the only lessons learned are the ones from life its self, with out a paper certificate summing up my accomplishments... when in a world that puts, for a good reason of organizing and qualifying a person, value to such paper validation!!! it pains me that i feel limited by my non paper organizing-qualifying-validation certificate.... I figure i cant remove the structure so i must find my place within it... just saying i want it all and i'm up for the challenge...

Lessons From Tonga

In Tonga we shared the family car which at this point was waiting repair... We wanted to go on a date and visit friends....So Sione found a motor bike to barrow so we hopped on with some day light left to watch the sun set over the blow holes, it wasn't that romantic as we thought it was going to be. It was low tide and the clouds covered the setting sun, so we enjoyed just being somewhere together!!! after what we thought the sun to have dropped into the ocean we hoped back on the motor bike and started over to our friends place a few villages over. As we traveled from one village to the next the head light grew dim to the point we could only see a few feet in front of the bike.... mind you traveling fast on a motor bike at night and the o so dangerous pot holes that would easily throw both of us off the bike. Sione pulled off to the side to tinker around (good old shack and thumping the headlight). We both wanted to visit friend but we had no interest in being road kill either. So we turned around and headed back home. luckily there was a van that passed us so we followed as close as we could but couldn't keep up because of the pot holes!!! so I pulled out my Tongan Phone that had a flashlight built into it. I pointed it towards the ground where the fading headlights would be shinning... It helped so I grabbed Sione's phone-flashlight and pointed it out there too...haha what a sight we where, traveling in the dark on a dimming headlight trying to get back home!!! reminds me of something? O this place called earthly experience!!! We still had some distance to cover before we got back to our village. Sione took us in the direction of passing the Temple!!! I held back the phones as we passed the well lit Temple... I couldn't help but think how blessed I am to be holding onto my wonderful husband and trying to do my best to light our way while he was driving us home!!! when i reflect back on this experience it puts my life in focus as I remember the feelings I had and the perfectly placed experience that God seemed to have placed before me to learn that He is the true source of light!!!
